BREAKING: Whistleblower nurse alleges 90k people affected by Coronavirus in China
 /  Last Modified: January 29, 2020

Contrary to public announcements that the virus only affected some 2000 people in China, a nurse from Wuhan where the dreaded Coronavirus originated, revealed that over 90 thousand people have contracted the disease.

In a video posted on Youtube, the whistleblower nurse said Coronavirus is so strong that it can infect 14 people at once.

“I’m here to tell the truth. At this moment, Hubei province, including the Wuhan area, even China, 90,000 people have been infected by Coronavirus,” said the nurse shown in the video as wearing a full-head face mask.

But some Youtube viewers who knew the nurse’s Chinese dialect commented that the number was meant to signify hospital visits and there is a possibility that one person have visited the hospital for treatment more than once.

Nevertheless, they said the number turns out to be more than what the Chinese government is claiming as currently the sum of those infected by Coronavirus in the country.

Wuhan was placed in a lockdown since January 23, but local officials said 5-million people, almost half of the city’s population have already left even before the lockdown and they are now travelling throughout the country and other parts of the world.

Health officials said Coronavirus is contagious during the incubation period, which means it can spread even before symptoms show.

To date, reports have confirmed of the virus spreading to 13 countries.

In the United States, five people has tested positive for Coronavirus while some 110 others are being monitored for possible infection.

The five confirmed cases are in California with two cases, one in Arizona, one in Washington, and one in Illinois. These patients had recently visited Wuhan, health officials said.

Meanwhile, the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention announced a travel warning to all parts of China following the increasing number of deaths due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
